F3D0T is a Discord bot for voice servers. Here is an honest description of what we process and why.

Voice recording

The bot keeps a short ring buffer of the last few seconds of voice in memory ONLY when recording is explicitly enabled by a server administrator, who confirms at that point that members are informed they may be recorded. The buffer lives solely in the process memory. Audio is NOT stored on our servers: when /clip is used, the resulting clip is uploaded to Discord and lives only there, inside the Discord message.

What we store

• server settings (channels, modes, welcome texts, etc.);
• links to the Discord messages of posted clips (the links, date and list of speakers — never the audio);
• aggregate activity statistics; an extended event log only if an administrator explicitly opts in;
• the list of users who have opted out of recording.

User rights

Any member can opt out of recording with /record off or /consent. An administrator can permanently delete ALL data for a server from the dashboard.
